How to Apply (Step Up For Students)

If you are eligibile to participate in the STEP-UP FOR STUDENTS program, you will need to create an account through the website.

Check the Eligibility Requirements if you are unsure of your eligibility.   All applications must be submitted through the Step Up For Students website prior to the submission deadline.

Status and Review Process

The student application status can be found  online when you log in to the website.  It is recommended that parent's check their application status at least once per week. Step Up For Student program staff will only review complete applications.  Imcomplete applications will not be reviewed.   If your application is imcomplete, you will receive an email instructing you to check your application on the website to find out which components are missing so that you can submit the necessary documents to complete your application  prior to the deadline.

Completed applications will be reviewed by Step Up For Students staff.  While staff are reviewing your application, your status will read "review in progress."  Once the review is complete, the status will change to "reviewed."

Notification of Acceptance

Notification of acceptance for Step Up For Students will be emailed to your email address.

Acceptance of Award

If offered a Step Up For Students scholarship, you  must bring your award letter to BB&C Christian Academy within one week of notification.  Also, you will need to submit a copy of U. S. birth certiication for K-5, shot record and government issued photo identification document to the school.   If the school needs any other document, they will let the parent know when enrolling.   All other required documents are required to be completed online  and brought to the school.
